Dorothy Marie Deering, 83 of Winter Park passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2011. She was born on November 11, 1928 in Columbus, Ohio to Leo Bauer and Loah Gleason Bauer. She was a retired Registered Dietician and member of Aloma Baptist Church in Winter Park. A previous member of the Crystal Cathedral, past president and active member of Altrusa and a supporter of the National Wildlife Federation. ~Dottie will be warmly remembered in a variety of ways. She was a faithful, Lord loving, devoted, active patriotic, generous women. She participated in the church and community with zest and dedication. Dottie was a wonderful friend, sister, aunt and great aunt. She was an inspiration, wonderful role model and sports fan with a delightful sense of humor. ~When you see a lilac, a kitty cat or hear the Saints go marching in, please think fondly of her and may YOU gain inspiration from her life and live each day to it's fullest. ~Per Dottie's memorial suggestions, donations maybe made to: American Cancer Society, American Stroke Society, American Diabetic Association, Cornerstone Hospice (Winter Park, Florida), the Susan B. Kolmen Society. She is survived by her sister, Elsie Fritz and nieces, Juanita Jan Smith, Melissa Lee Rivera, Michelle Renee Hendrick and Lenelle Adora Lang.
